Brotherly Love

I am oh so happy,
So happy for my best friend,
She has been an only child,
For 16 years, She's been alone,
But now her parents and herself,
Are adopting a baby boy,
His name is Elijah Adams and he is the cutest boy,
I am oh so happy for them,
And I am oh so grateful to God,
That he is giving them and her the chance for a new sort of life,
I love you Rach,
and i am oh so happy,
i love the way you smile down at him,
a smile that says i will watch out for you baby brother,
protect him,
care for him,
love him always,
when he gets older, I must warn you,
brothers can be obnoxious but i must say,
all the good times,
and good laughs,
and the loving bonds make it all worth it,
cherish that boy,
and i will to,
i feel like i am gaining a brother also,
i know what the doctors say about him may be hard to handle in your mind,
but i promise everything will be ok,
just trust in God and all things will fall into place,
in his perfect time,
and you know what,
i must say now,
i feel like God is telling me he has a great way for him,
a great and mighty plan,
he will be a warrior,
strong and mighty for God,
he will help you whenever you need him,
and he will be your best friend,
i know, i know,
i am your best friend,
but you know what,
brothers are a gift,
take advantage of something so special,
i can feel like he will not only overcome what the doctors say is true,
but he will also make a huge difference in this world,
with God's help and his sister to lean on,
i love you both so much already,
i thank God for this new hope and light for the world.
