"When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

-Sherlock Holmes (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle)

In my miserable world,
Black and white
Matter more than grey,
Boxes more than circles,
Straight lines more that wavy ones,
Only because
It makes sense
To not care,
And to write off,
Even when it is near impossible.
Straight lines,
And boxes,
And black,
And white,
Make it simple
To love,
Or hate,
Or ignore,
And
Focus
On the
Concrete

― Weihui Zhou

You nailed this poem with the simplicity you used. I felt as though you were mocking life and the world because in a way they mock us and make us ridiculously indifferent beings, cold-hearted and numb to any good emotion. I love that.
