Favorite Quote:
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

I’ve fallen into the abyss
The walls are caving in
I’m screaming cries for help
But no one hears a sound

The flood gates are open
My tears are pouring down
But to see my agony
No one is around

All the sorrow and lies
Jealousy and defeat
Have weighed me down so much
I can’t move my feet

I cling to the dirt walls
I can’t pull myself up
I cry out again
But no one is around

All my emotions are welling up
I cannot breathe
All this pain and all this anger
Is strangling me

Every attempt to crawl out
The dirt wall breaks
And I fall
Right back down

I’ve fallen into the abyss
The walls are caving in
I’m screaming cries for help
But no one hears a sound

The author's comments:
This poem is a little astray from the usual happy, lovey-dovey things that I usually write, but I needed to show all sides of me through my writing and I'm sure we've all had our moments of being in "the abyss" so I think people can relate to my piece.
