...just breathe...

A day in the life of the black and white

Lines are clear

Burdens are light

The sun is hot

The trees are tall

On today’s agenda:

Food.

Water.

A day in the life of the black and
white

Simple.

But threats come about

Unbeknownst to the pure

Homes are lost

Friends disappear

A shade of gray is introduced.

A day in the life of the black and
white

The old is gone

The lines are blurred

What is this gray?

What have we done to deserve

Pain.

Loss.

Gray.

A day in the life of the black and white

The sun is still hot

But more so

The trees are still tall

But less dense

On today’s agenda:

Find food.

Water.

Hide.

Survive.

A day in the life of the black and white

Precious.

Pure.

Endangered.

I saw the prompt from yesterday was to write about the day in the life of a panda bear. That was my inspiration, this is my response.

I liked this a lot, and how you used black, white and gray to talk about being endangered. Very skillful:)
