Bleeding Lungs
When I walked to school
you joined me everyday
I thought we were best friends
I thought you felt the same
We always laughed on that walk
and even more in class
and then I started to feel
like my heart turned into glass
You made my heart this way
And then I definitely knew
I liked my best friend more
I was falling in love with you
Your eyes, your nose, your smile
and even your ginger hair
Every time we locked eyes
I thought we were nearly there
but today my lungs started to bleed
because my glass heart shattered
I found that you felt differently
and you thought it didn't matter
I thought it could be perfect
but I could barely breath
you went to her instead
while braking all of me
And so I got left alone
And she is the lucky one
my thoughts stilled tangled up
My heart is simply done
Believe me I tried to forget
I still thought it couldn’t be true
you should know it hurt even more
because I will never stop loving you
