Passion of Love
You loved us so
I just don't know
How you could die
For someone like me.
I nailed your hands
And your tired feet
Speared your side and
Put thorns in your head.
I called you names and
Spit of your face
I am so ashamed.
You only came to set me free
From all the sins that had me bound.
In all your good
You loved a wretch like me.
To say it was nothing
Would be a lie.
I just can't imagine
Why you would do this
But it's just a simple reason.
It was because of
Your passion of love.
