Wishes MAG
My eyes squeeze shut
And I cross my fingers beneath the table.
I hold my breath,
As all eyes are on me.
Silence fills the room.
I take a deep inhale
Filling my lungs with fresh air,
As I lean over the table.
I purse my lips,
And push all the fresh air out,
Extinguishing the little flames
That danced before me.
The silence is broken
By applause and cheers.
I open my eyes
And find trails of smoke where
The little flames once stood.
