"No Gods, No Masters!" -Margaret Sanger

Death is a beautiful woman
Who lies in silence and sleeps with secrets.
Marred not is she by life’s vile vermin
Or affected by amorous cuts.
She knows us all and breathes us all,
For it is time for all to fall.

Death is a wandering minstrel
Who sings his song of melancholy
To all ears who list for the wistful;
All are thus recompensed for their folly.
He loves us all and sings to all,
For it is time for all to fall.

Death is a valiant hero
Who fights against the plight of life.
Vermin crushed to boots below
Are rescued from enduring strife.
He fights us all and destroys us all,
For it is time for all to fall.

Death is an indolent wastrel
Who meanders hither, yon, and thither.
No man shall claim him as a vassal,
Nor will under any rule he wither.
He seeks us all and repulses all,
For it is time for all to fall.

Death is a malevolent witch
Who compels all unto her will.
She brings us to a final twitch
And forces our spark to still.
She curses all and defiles us all,
For it is time for all to fall.

Death is a beautiful woman
Who seduces and brings despair.
Her presence is that last ill omen
‘Fore life is to quit its fancy fair.
She hates us all and douses all,
For it is time for all to fall.

Death is all that it shall e’er be
Regardless of form or fashion.
That great Emperor of infinity
Performs its job with verve and passion.
It quiets all and calms us all,
For it is time for you to fall.
