Take Me Back This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.

I want to go back to when life was simple.
When crusts were our biggest enemies,
When the bottoms of crayons were flat,
When turf wars were only fought at the lunch table,
When people became angels, instead
of headstones,
When honeysuckles were contraband,
Back when wonder was intact.

You did a great job of picking a few random examples to give us all the whole picture of our past. Man, I need to have a honeysuckle again.
