The child fused the creature together,
Sewing feathers onto its rapidly decaying skin
In agony, it screamed
But the child continued
The being was transformed
Its footsteps became animated
The child had given it many different
characteristics
until it became all the earth claimed to be.
It absorbed the slugs from the ground and ate the birds of the sky
The five eyes on its face all stared in the same direction
You could never startle it.
It was always aware.
