Favorite Quote:
“What man calls civilization always results in deserts. Man is never on the square – he uses up the fat and greenery of the earth. Each generation wastes a little more of the future with greed and lust for riches.” -- Don Marquis

In a castle, I reside
with my worries put aside
I rule the world
my say is the word
my smile,
spreads happiness
mile after mile
my frown
makes the green
fields go brown.

This is MY world
where,
I am brave and strong
I say what’s right and what’s wrong.
I am flawless,
a fighter.
fierce and ferocious if needed
kind and forgiving if pleaded
a champion of the gods
powerful and protective.
born to banish evil.
I am perfect
in my fantasy.

"Nobody is perfect." We all know we aren't perfect, but that doesn't mean we can't dream and hope. This poem is based on a dream that I once had. It is comforting to know that we can all be perfect in some world, even if it is the dream world. Don't stop dreaming and keep writing!!
