An eraser is like optimism,
It’s useful,
But easy to lose.
I guess that’s like most things,
Because I lose everything.
My remote, my keys,
Even my cat.
I guess they are all useful things;
Things for changing,
Things for coming and going,
Things for company,
I guess.
Like an eraser,
Regularly misplaced,
But always excellent for something.
