Nestled in the crook
Or behind the tree
He silently watches you
Stalks your presence
Follows you
Makes your shadow his home.
You don't glimpse
His white face
And black-suited body
Until it is far too late.
Then it's a matter of time
Before you are a victim
Of the Slenderman
