The Summer Afternoon
January 4, 2013
I am running,
Through the field,
Of gold and green.
Where the sun kisses the earth,
And the wind runs along side me.
The brook calls my name as I pass.
I am tumbling through the wildflowers,
Who giggle as I roll down the hill.
I am embraced by the earth,
On one lazy summer afternoon.
