I can barely see,
My eyes are red.
I think you would agree
That my brain is dead.
Thinking hurts,
Breathing is hard.
My mouth does nothing but blurt
Out memories to discard.
Writing is different,
I’m actually rhyming!
Typing out things so indifferent
That it would kill someone mountain climbing.
Insomnia is the worst,
There I go sounding old again!
I am sorry for that outburst
Of chow mien…
