I remember the good old days
When they advised, “Wish upon a star”
When they declared, “Anything is possible”
I remember the good old days
When they assured a princess career was within reach
When they confirmed a future in singing was guaranteed
I will try to forget the demeaning present days
In which a doctor and a lawyer are the only possibilities
In which sports and arts don’t matter
I will try to remember the good old days
