Silent
Like a stalker in the darkness.
Silent
Is the creature in my mouth.
Curled behind my teeth,
He slumbers peacefully.
His breathing swells my throat
And I stay
Silent.
He's fed by your sweet hand,
He's trained by your hard fist.
He knows that if he's quiet
Maybe
He won't be missed.
He knows what he has seen.
He's seen what he's been shown.
But since your fist is angry,
Your deeds will not be known.
Silence will remain,
Silence here within.
As quiet as the
Violets
That bloom across my skin.
Like a stalker in the darkness.
Silent
Is the creature in my mouth.
Curled behind my teeth,
He slumbers peacefully.
His breathing swells my throat
And I stay
Silent.
He's fed by your sweet hand,
He's trained by your hard fist.
He knows that if he's quiet
Maybe
He won't be missed.
He knows what he has seen.
He's seen what he's been shown.
But since your fist is angry,
Your deeds will not be known.
Silence will remain,
Silence here within.
As quiet as the
Violets
That bloom across my skin.
