When it rains it makes me feel better
Like all the worries of the world are being
Washed away, it seems like a beautiful thing.

I remember one night several years ago,
Where i stood outside, i felt like I was going to die.
But then that beautiful smell enveloped me.
The smell that the air has before a down pour.

It started, and it matched the hurricane in my
Heart. It felt like i was being flooded.
I walked into the street and i stood in the rain.

My mother came out and told me i better
Come in, before it gets to bad.
I asked her if I could swim, but she told
Me I would drown.

For second I thought it might be
What i wanted. But decided
The hurricane in my heart was enough for one day.
But i stayed out just a little longer.
Until my worries were washed down the
Drain, with the rest of the
Rain.
