At first glance you just see a girl
Sitting on the concrete steps
But look closer...
You’ll see a laugh curling her lips.

Her skin is as soft as a cat’s purr
Her hair as dark as Snow White’s
Her eyes are mounds of charcoal
Her dress is a diamond glowing in the light.

She truly is a pretty girl
She has beauty from within
But the beauty’s on the outside too
Her beauty is everywhere.
