I heard you sing
Of a melody
So harsh and mean
so sweetly did you sing
Of that haunting melody
OH so sweetly did you sing

Your features hard and sharp
Anger running through you veins
unknown things coming from above
I didn't understand then
That you were saving me
Of things unseen, of things
with red eyes
Sorry your sacrifice has gone
away,
for those red eyes are mine

The author's comments:
I wrote this in English class and i wasn't really paying attention to the story (we were reading Romeo and Juliet) so i started to write and that is what i came up with its supposed to be a story about a mother trying to save her daughter of the unknown dangers but then the daughter goes behind her mothers back and saves her by becoming the danger in turn for her mother to live.
