Nothing is impossible. The word itself says: I'm Possible!

Pitter, patter,
Pitter, patter,
We do not talk,
Letting the rain speak for us
Stomp, Splash, Crash,
We slowly walk down the lane
Click, Click, Click,
The sound of our shiny, wet shoes
on slippery cobblestones
Boom, Boom, Crash,
Another rain cloud
is coming
Carts slipping on stones
Click, Snap, Shut,
The closing of windows,
On a gloomy day
Clop, Clop, Clop,
Heavy horse hooves
Splashing in already deep puddles,
Doors closing,
The snap of umbrellas opening,
We continue walking.
Pitter, Patter,
Pitter, Patter, we do not talk
Letting the rain speak for us
Flicker, Flash
As the light post is immersed
In a bright glow
Light pours on to the open cobblestone lane
The yellow light reflects onto
Black, wet trench coats
Thump
As wet bodies collide
Shivering home
The white buildings in the background
Look pearly against the ghostly lit sky
A couple in front of me
Looking far into the distance
Dressed in black and furs
Appropriate for the time
Ding, Clang, Dong,
The church bells remind us
Of the day
Split, Splat,
The sound of a house maid
In the distance
Wringing out a sopping floor mat
Pitter, Patter,
Pitter, Patter,
We do not talk
Letting the rain speak for us
A splash awakens me from the daydream
For the wet paintings and puddles
Show us everything
We hear and know
Pitter, Patter,
Pitter, Patter,
I do not talk
Letting the rain following me
Speak for itself
