After all this time, I still have
posters on the walls
dreams on the ceiling
nowadays I forget to check
and see if the moon is waning
Sometimes I just want
to go outside and
sit on the porch
and watch the cars go by

I really like the message that you can get from this poem. It almost reminds me of my life. I end up spending so much of my time making sure that I am moving forward and constantly doing something that I forget to slow down and take joy in the simple parts of life. Sweet, simple, and powerful.
