Siesta Key, Florida
The sea and sky morphed to one
Cool air blanketing the landscape
Sand spread across to show the boundary, white and soft
Made with the hand of an artist
Felt like just us four
Laying on towels in the pearl sand, feeling the warmth from the sun
Relaxed as it should be, with serene empty minds,
Reading, listening, soaking up the delicate day that was given to us
A nice ocean breeze lifts our hair
And soothes our soul
Beach balls, volleyballs, lifeguard towers, the sea
All in front of us, calmly going through the day
Colored umbrellas
Scattered across the valley of white dust
Along with the rainbow enlightenment of people and towels
The life here on the beach
Water and foam crash into the soft pigmented sand
Where the desert and waves meet creating paradise
And the joy circulates like a source of energy
From one to the next, giving us peace and a smile
Like a family to me, we all relaxed as one
The camera collecting the moments of amusement and wonder
The day I won’t forget will stay with me
Swimming, sleeping, eating, laughing
Fun in summer, with three girls I love, and will forever
