When we collided,
Darling,
I came home with a twinkle in my eye
And stardust in my hair.
I roamed the galaxy alone
Before then
Marveling at my surroundings
But now the rosy pink sky
Compares nothing to your blushing cheeks
And the ocean is graceless and limping
Compared to your gait.
When you found me
Up in the clouds
Counting raindrops
Lonesome
And aching for someone
You took me by the hand
And brought me back down to earth
Perhaps It was destiny
Because You are my destiny
And our story is told up in the stars even now
By the angels
Who must be looking down on me
