An overprotective father
A joyful mother
Holding on as tight as possible like a
snake constricting.
Not letting their one & only
waddle away further.
In church,
before God,
this child is an angel
Mother smiling proud
Father scared of her growing up
Her eyes half closed.
Mother with red lips
She hates red today.
Father's mustache still screaming over his lip
But no hair found on the top of his head today.
