"The time has come," The walrus said, "To speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. Of why the sea is boiling hot, and of whether pigs have wings."

Its quiet out
The earth is still
Spread through the air
A deadly chill

A gentle snowflake
Falls to the ground
Not a movement
Not a sound

One more flake
Then another
The air is filled
The ground is covered

Its quiet out
The earth is still
Spread through the air
A deadly chill

A start a sound
The flutter of wings
A great black crow
Majestic, proud, among many things

A pause, a beat
Then it ends
The silence returns
Reality bends

All is so silent
All is so still
It hardly seems likely
That it could be real

Its quiet out
The earth is still
Spread through the air
A deadly chill
