The Moon, The Stars
I see you in our galaxy
I see you in the stars
In the moon, I see you.
I see you in the wings of a monarch,
In a vast forest, I see you.
Footprints lay softly imprinted on the shoreline,
And I see you.
Watching a sunset, I see you.
I see you in the first exciting flutter of a baby bird’s wings.
I see the love you withhold;
In sunshine and in darkness,
In happiness, in sadness
I see you endlessly.
I feel you in my vertebrae, in my spine.
In the frigid breeze of the night,
I see you as I fall quietly asleep.
By existing, I see you.
My last breath, I will become you.
