The symbols on the paper mean nothing
Without someone to interpret;
The musician does that,
Giving beauty to the notes on the page.
The figures in the book mean nothing
Without someone to decipher;
The scholar does that,
Bringing weight to the written word.
The people on the earth are nothing
without someone to love them;
God does that,
Lending meaning to life.
