constant
one preconceived notion of weakness, the hypocrisy must be blinding
“no, he IS able,” the doctors whispered
the humility of a boy with the expansive firmament condensed in his eyes
brought aglow by a mysterious, yet courageous flame
often pushes him far beyond the barracks
the sun that shimmies her way past the cheap blinds
is the only reminder that life is fickle – and love, even more
but nothing else matters…for that he is sure.
