Just because I am naïve,
Doesn’t mean I’m dumb.
It doesn’t mean I don’t understand,
Or that I should be treated differently.

Just because I am naïve,
Doesn’t mean I should be shunned.
It doesn’t mean I’m scared,
Or that I’d run away.

Just because I am naïve,
You should still talk to me,
Don’t just keep me in the dark.

Just because I am naïve,
Doesn’t mean I don’t want to learn.
