just a micronesian
They all act surprised when I speak. They act surprised when I smile. They act surprised when I sing. They act surprised when I dance. They act surprised when I voice an opinion. They think that just because I'm a Micronesian my English won't be good. That my smile will be ugly. That my voice would sound horrible. That I'll dance weird. That I have bad grammar. And that just because I'm a Micronesian, I won't know anything. That I'm just as ignorant as the others they have judged, who were too weak to even voice their opinions. But they were wrong. Just because I'm a Micronesian doesn't mean that I don't know anything.
