What About Today?

Oh, one day
you will be happy,
you will be beautiful,
you will be loved.

And one day,
you might look back
and all that's happened in your life
might make some sort of sense.

But for now...

We always talk about how
things will be different one day,
but that doesn't seem
to help us to today.
