Hardening my heart,
beginning a brand new start
I'm ready to love again,
I'm opening my heart to a new variety
So done with that frustration,
I no longer need the aggravation
Being with you didn't always feel right,
but with him it's so right it's wrong
I can't pretend I didn't care,
because I know I did deep down
People change and everything happens for a reason
I wake up feeling alive and free,
my renewed heart is the best part of me
I did what I thought would be best for us,
no longer worrying about not having trust
Now I've completely let go,
and there's no reason to keep putting on a show
