Still Drowning

I am comfortable and safe
Paddling around in shallow waters
Ignorant of any other life
But wading in my decided area
I notice my comfortable surroundings
Have become smaller and smaller
Closing in on me slowly, but consistently
Keeping my head up is a struggle
Now I am drowning
I fight with all the power I have
To escape the clutches of my dungeon
And take a breath of fresh air
I am still drowning…
