Goodbye my almost lover
Goodbye my hopeless romance
You've taken up your bags
You've taken up your arms
This would be the final time we see each other
You're almost out the door
so close to a clean break
yet so far from another heartache
You smile at me over your shoulder
and say it would be alright.
But how can you can lie to me sweetly as you go off to fight?
