Nightime Feasting
Strutting from side to side she stalks her prey
Around the corner her meal will lay
Oblivious to the words he will never say.
Strike to the neck, down he goes
Now only a white cloud consuming shows.
The moon over the hunt dimly glows.
The babies wait for their share
But death soon consumes them too
With one last glare.
