Here I lay in wait,
In wait of the day the tyrant slips,
When the tyrant slips, I will smash his head
When I smash his head, I will stand to become the new king.
I become the new king, and must stand in silent vigil.

Here I stand in silent vigil,
In silent vigil, I watch for my foes,
As I watch for my foes, I pray
I pray my children will not fall.
But must they fall, I will pick them up
When I pick them up, I will ask.
I will ask, “Why do we fall?”
“We fall, to learn to stand.” They shall learn.
They shall learn that they must, and they shall stand
They shall stand to rise and rise again.

Here I shall rise, fall and rise again.
I shall rise again and again,
Again and again, I must fall
I must fall to Rise once more.
Once more, like my Father.
Like my Father before me, I will build
I will build, for my children after me.

I have fallen.
I will Fall, and then lay in wait.
I will Lay in wait, in humility, and then Rise
I will Rise, and will stand,
I will stand, and I will build
I will build, and I will be at peace.
When I am at peace, I will watch and rejoice.
I will watch as my sons are now MEN of True Strength,
I will watch as my daughters are now Women of True Beauty.
I will rejoice as my children have learned Truth!

I WILL REJOICE AS MY CHILDREN HAVE LEARNED TO STAND!
I WILL SING TO MY MAKER AND KING FOR MY BLESSINGS!
AND I WILL DANCE FOR HE HAS TAUGHT ME TO STAND!
