To take a stand
For who I am
For my friends

I am not afraid
To be me
To speak
What I think

I am not afraid
To speak up
For those who cannot
When fear is turned on

I am not afraid
Of my inner demons
No matter the reasons
Nor the feelings

I am not afraid
To take a stand
For who I am
Because no one else can

The author's comments:
This poem was something I wrote one night when I was thinking of so many things that continued to worry me. I was listening to I'm not afraid by eminem and this just came out. I hope that whoever reads this enjoys it and also can relate to my poetry.
