my bones vibrate
screaming
trying to crawl away from
the skin that has trapped
them in

my eyes wander
staring
looking for something new
to study

my heart sleeps
bored
forgetting its passion
to pump

my body waits
ready
longing to feel the cool dirt
under the ground
