The Devil Inside Me

I'm trying to be the real me

Each tI'me with a silent yell

The devil is awaking
the soul turns to stone
the heart pumps faster than ever before

The people get angry
one by one
they scream and shout
ho they've been let down
the pain and misery the monster has caused

The devil has won
smashing every happy thought
out of my head,
turning it into shame and guilt
as he celebrates and claI'ms my life
now I'm left terrified
of what happens next

Each day the clouds become darker
i can hardly see
what awaits for me

The rain is heavier than ever before
my life has been taking over
by the beast of sins

Now I'm left dying
with every last breath
i beg for a light
a light to shine down
from the heaven above
and take this ragging devil,
i know this will never happen,
but at least i can say i have tried

You see that little girl
the girl who smiles
and is nice and sweet
that used to be me
until the devil took over me
