One day I looked
inside of me
to try and find
myself.
I searched through
memories
and diamond dreams
and in the corners
of every shelf.
I searched my heart
I searched my head
trying to recall
all the things
I had said.
Deep within
I found myself
but when I did
he
was someone else.
