I stare at the wall
The blank white wall
Oppressive, inexpressive, entirely without life
I stare at the wall
O terrible abyss of me
No color, no love, no kindness
I stare at the wall
Trying to break through
To break free from the tyrant
I stare at the wall
The wall of nightmares
O devilish creature of monotony
I stare at the wall
I stare until the last few gasps of life
Escape my clenching maw
I stare at the wall
Until life turns to death
Until death is reborn
I stare at the wall
And the wall stares back.
