Show me your scars,
Because I can't hide mine.
I bleed pure static,
Energy that forgot how to shine.
It feels like the whole wide world
Is raining down on me,
So as I take this step,
I beg God to forgive me.
Purple explosions burst
From the fight within.
My soul hungers,
The soul that doesn't match my skin.
What's left of it struggles
Against my war-ravaged body.
I'm exhausted from confliction,
And giving up is just so easy.
