You look at me
With your crestfallen face
As you feel the sting of betrayal
I turn away in shame
Wishing I could undo what has been done

But I'm really sick, you see
And cannot handle reality
In my fragile state of mind
I'm leaving sanity behind

I'm sorry for what I've done
Sorry I can't take it back
But I don't want to know the truth
Because it will damage me In so many ways
That I could never fix

I've been beaten and battered
My faith is in tatters
My heart has been shattered
But none of that matters

I've betrayed you
And you've betrayed me
We've evened up the score
So let's stop pointing fingers
