How's heaven?
Is it nice?

Sweet sunshine or shining stars,
bitter tears at night.

Whispering how I love you,
how I miss you,
so much.

But you're gone,
better off I like to say
so how's heaven darling?
Is it as beautiful as your heart of gold was?

I know you can't answer,
but maybe you're listening.
Are you watching over me angel?

The author's comments:
I like when people read this poem and try to guess who I wrote it for. The common guesses are a loved one or family, which are both true. My dog Rusty was, and always will be, both of those things to me.
