Now I lay me down to sleep.
My hopes and dreams,
buried six feet deep.

The emotional pain
I thought I could bore,
casts a shadow of reget,
I can no longer ignore.

Holding it in
was never right,
I've finally realized
I've lost this fight.

Forever slumber is closer
than I think.
Then I know,
the pain will shrink.
