What is Love?

What is love?
I surely don’t know
I am a young dove
I know of no such things

What creates such a feeling?
Of warmth and desire
Hearts so full
With passion and infatuation

All I see are breakups
And heartaches and makeup’s
Fighting and pain
Is this really love?

If this is all there really is
I want no part or place
I want to stay alone
I want to stay alone forever

I want to feel no pain
Never broken or distraught
I will be happy forever
As long as love stays out of the way

But you need it they say
Love is everywhere
Inside of every person
Bundled up in your heart

Love is sweet and kind
Love is forgiving
Love is a miracle feeling
Everybody needs a little love
