Everyone thought I was done.
I thought I was done too.
Until one day
the ocean inside
went out
of
control
High tides of pressure;
Emotions smashing on dams
Threaten to explode, falling
down
to
the
lowest
tides
feelings
subsiding
to
numbness, all feeling gone.
Balance is found in
the flashes of silver:
sharp, perfectly smooth edges
or
ragged, unforgiving tearing teeth.
