I've been watching the clouds fly
I've been listening to the winds cry
I have got to get out somehow
I gotta leave this place
I've been watching the tide crawl
I've been staring at the stars
so small
I have wondered
how they come and go
as they please, that is me,
that is how i want to be
how i want to be
oh, how i wish that was me.

Great poem. :) Some capitalization issues, but other than that, all is well. I really like the way you described things to emphasize your feelings, like "watching the tide crawl" and "staring at the stars so small." They just tickle the senses and I love that. Those small yet strong descriptions really help pack the punch in your writing. Good job!
