9:46 PM
and my heart
has relocated
into my stomach

9:47 PM
and my heart
has relocated
into my stomach
as gravity clenches
another hand around
it
gripping tighter

9:48 PM
and my heart
has relocated
into my stomach
and my stomach relocates
to my esophagus
for a prime view
out of my mouth
into the ocean

9:49 PM
and my heart
has relocated
into my stomach
my eyes count the
indents in the ceiling
anything to get
my mind off of
the place that replaced
my sunken heart

9:50 PM
and my heart
has relocated
into my stomach
and my head questions
my next breath
for nothing
life is sacred
so was the earth
so am I

9:51 PM
and my heart
has relocated
into my stomach
and thoughts of the
amount of inadequacy
I feel replace
it
pumping the phrase
“you are alone,
you were never good
who cares”
through my veins
it feeds my head
the novocaine it craved
and my mouth a hard bite
to swallow
You don’t know
why you get so dark
when in others eyes
you shine so bright
but even black holes appear
bright
when they steal rays of light
from other stars
I am a thief among
the cosmos

9:57 pm
and my heart
has relocated
into my stomach
and has fallen out of my body
completely
sand into the ground
and fell to the center of the
earth
to feel the warmth
no one gave it
on the surface

I don’t know
why
but sometimes
I can still feel it
beating
